Pyrometers for universal applications

CT LT and CTfast LT
The pyrometer optris CT LT is equipped with one of the world’s smallest infrared sensors with a high optic resolution of 22:1 and works at an ambient temperature of up to 180 °C. Additionally, it offers a high variability due to selectable analog outputs as well as several digital interfaces in the electronics box.
The extended version, the pyrometer CTex LT, is additionally equipped with Zener double barriers (for employment in explosion-prone areas).
The CTfast LT pyrometer is perfectly suited for especially quick measurements, due to its extremely short response time of 6 ms. The unchoppered sensor allows a continuous temperature surveillance of fast processes in a spectrum of -50 °C up to 975 °C

CT 1M and 2M
The infrared thermometers optris CT 1M and 2M are employed for temperature measurements requiring short measuring wavelengths. They precisely and reliably measure e.g. metallic surfaces in metal processing (e.g. welding, sintering) as well as metal oxides and ceramics in temperatures of up to 2,200°C.
CT 3M
Due to its short measuring wavelength and a temperature range from 50°C on, the pyrometer optris CT 3M, is ideally suited for employment in low-temperature measurements of metals and composite materials. The quick response time of only 1 ms allows for a problem-free use of the metal thermometer in fast processes. The electronics box of the measuring device allows a flexible terminal device through selectable analog outputs as well as various optional digital interfaces.
NEW CT 4ML
Due to its short measuring wavelength and a temperature range from 0°C to 500 °C, the pyrometer optris CT 4ML, is ideally suited for measurement of metals, metal oxides, ceramics or materials with unknown or changing emissivity. The very quick response time of only 300 μs enables great improvements in ultra-fast metal processes.
The electronics box of the measuring device allows a flexible terminal device through selectable analog outputs as well as various optional digital interfaces.

Analysis software
Compact Connect

The licence-free temperature analysis software optris Compact Connect allows simple and fast parameterization of the compact and the high performance series’ fixed infrared thermometers. It further serves the analysis and documentation of temperature measurement values, thus optimizing process control.
The modern software with its intuitive user interface enables the data display of multiple sensors in different windows. Additionally, the temperature information can easily be saved in Excel or MS Word for further actions.
Regarding the infrared thermometer optris CT, up to eight different emissivity values of different materials may be entered with their corresponding alarm levels, enabling the simultaneous monitoring of several processes.
In case the software does not meet your expectations, we are glad to help you with individual adjustments.
IRmobile App
The new IRmobile is the app for all IR thermometers (pyrometers) and IR cameras from Optris. You can monitor and analyze your infrared temperature measurement directly on a connected smartphone or tablet.
This app runs on most Android (5.0 or higher) devices with a micro USB or USB-C port supporting USB-OTG (On The Go). It is easy to operate: after you plug your Optris pyrometer or IR camera to the micro USB or USB-C port of your phone or tablet, the app will start automatically. The device is powered by your phone.
The app includes a simulator for both pyrometer and camera - so you can try many functions even without connected devices.
