Webinar experiments: Transmission properties in IR temperature measurements in a wavelength range of 1 µm
This video demonstrates the temperature measurement of a metal cylinder via induction heating. The camera and the heating source are separated by a glass of water, thus demonstrating how the new thermal imager optris PI 1M easily detects temperatures through inspection glasses, vacuum chambers and even through windows with water cooling. This allows for the thermal camera’s operation independently of external conditions or ambient temperatures from longer distances.
